MANOURI MEVGAL (P.D.O.)
This traditional Greek cheese (like the majority of P.D.O cheeses) is exclusively produced in Central and Western Macedonia and in Thessalia. Its intense snow-white surface is exceptionally smooth and it has a wonderfully semi-soft texture with a creamy, milky taste that melts in your mouth. Manouri cheese is excellent for baking but it’s also heavenly with wine and on sandwiches. Do not forget to try it with Green Salad with MEVGAL manouri cheese and balsmamic vinegar, and of course, a glass of red dry wine.
